Clayton J. Shultz, ASA, Senior Valuation Analyst

Clay joined the business valuation team at Shenehon in 2002. He holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation in business valuation from the American Society of Appraisers. Clay's assignments include developing value estimates for professional practices, manufacturing and service businesses, minority interests and partnerships. Despite a full workload, he finds time to teach, publish journal articles and pursue a Master's Degree in Business Administration.

Chris came to Shenehon, from the University of St. Thomas, with a degree in Real Estate. In 5 years, he successfully completed the required coursework and experience hours to obtain his Minnesota Certified General appraiser's license. As a valued member of the real estate team, Chris has willingly tackled some very challenging appraisal assignments in the areas of tax abatement, condemnation and special use property valuations.

A Senior Appraiser, Andy works primarily on the real estate team. His assignments include a variety of property types, including those with real estate and business components. Andy stays abreast of the market trends and tracks changes to the laws governing appraisers and appraisals.

Charles A. Miller, Senior Valuation Analyst

Chuck is a business valuation practitioner who also holds a registered real property appraiser license. His experience in corporate financial management and real estate assessment, as well as his MBA degree in finance, serve him well as he prepares professional valuations of business enterprises across a wide range of industries, intangible property rights, and real estate. Chuck is currently pursuing his CBA designation, but still finds some time each year to contribute to the annual business valuation conference presentations. He recently co-authored an article for publication in Valuation Viewpoint, Shenehon Company's newsletter.

With a degree in Real Estate Studies from the University of St. Thomas,Tim has spent the last three years in our real estate department. His assignments cover the areas of multi-family housing, condemnation proceedings, commercial businesses, and properties with special use permits or grandfathered uses. He also attends Hamline University's weekend law school.

Kate is part of the real estate team. Commercial land, multi-family properties and luxury homes make up the majority of her assignments. With a degree in Real Estate Studies from the University of St. Thomas, she is currently fulfilling the requirements for her Certified General Appraiser license.

Heather M. Burns, Valuation Analyst

Heather joined the business valuation team in early 2007. Her experience to date includes 100% and partial interest valuations for estate and gifting purposes, potential sales and marital dissolutions. Heather is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers and is actively pursuing her CBA designation.
