Position Summary
As a Senior Real Estate Appraiser, you will work closely with upper management in the preparation of appraisal reports. Appraisal reports that you would be involved with cover a wide range of property types and are needed for a variety of reasons.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Perform independent research and confirmation of data;
* Prepare market analyses and perform research on property trends;
* Utilize Argus and/or Microsoft Excel to analyze income-producing properties;
* Inspect properties that are the subject of the appraisal or are comparable thereto;
* Perform comparative analyses;
* Write narrative appraisal reports; and
* Additional duties that are needed.
Experience and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university (Real Estate major is a plus)
* Certified General license
* 2 - 5 years of experience with commercial real estate appraisal
* Proficient with Microsoft Office
* Strong understanding of real estate
* Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various business documents
* Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
* Strong understanding of Argus software
* Condemnation experience is a plus

* Proficient with Microsoft Office
* Basic understanding of real estate
